Southern Gypsies to perform in Blake Shelton Showdown.

Southern Gypsies, consisting of Tessa House and Brittany Nicole Stokes, will be performing individually and together at the Blake Shelton Block Party Showdown on September 30th, 2014.
The Block party is being held in honor of Blake Shelton, who will be releasing his newest album "Bringing Back the Sunshine" on the 30th, which featured the city of Ada's water tower on the cover. He is also in the works of filming videos for the songs to be realeased off the album in which he will illuminate the City of Ada as well, which is Shelton's home town.
The Event will begin at 5PM in the Ada Arts District, which is where Vintage 22, Tree House Studios, and many more arts business, including ECU is located. All will be participating in the Block Party.
There will be several contests at the event, including a Blake Shelton Look-a-Like contests and Best Mullet Contest, and then of course, the Showdown, which will feature a few local artist including Southern Gypsies. They will be competing for a secretive package of some sorts from Blake's record company, Warner Brothers Nashville. It is also said that Blake himself will be sending out some well wishes and thanks with a special video made for Ada while on location filming The Voice, which he will be at during the block party.
All ages are welcome! There will also be face painting, balloon animals, and bounce houses, along with a merchandise table from Warner Brothers Nashville with awesome Blake stuff! Bring a lawn chair and come on out! It's kind of a big deal! ;)
